Seriously so delicious! The pork was flavorful and moist, the okra and hush puppies were crisp and not over battered. The service was friendly. Cash only, but there is an ATM. The space inside was cramped, but they fit about 4 tables in there. Can’t wait to go back, but would probably do takeout.

The Hog Pen has hands down the best bbq no contest. Every item on the menu is prepared and seasoned perfectly. They sell their own bottled barbecue sauce and it is delicious. I have a complaint but only a selfish one, they are only open three days a week.

Best smoked chicken I’ve had in my life. This place is legit on the Q. It’s like going to a cook out and finding out the host is a pit master. Very generous with portions. Worth every dollar! Will be back for sure

So I made a 9-hour drive to try this restaurant, and I have to say it was worth every hour of the trip! First, the customer service was amazing and even though I caught them close to closing they were super nice and friendly and the food was amazing! I wasn't able to dine in since they were closing but it doesn't matter I would have eaten this food off of the sidewalk. I got the chopped beef sandwich, the dry rib dinner with hush puppies, mustard potato salad, and baked beans. The hush puppies were a pleasant surprise I could have eaten these bad boys all day long, definitely the best I've ever put in my dirty mouth! The potato salad and baked beans were also very good. The ribs were simply to die for. I enjoyed them both dry and with barbecue sauce. The beef sandwich was also super tasty (that was my appetizer ). If I could give this place 10 Stars I would definitely do it because it is so far the best BBQ restaurant that I have visited in the country. Make sure you run and don't walk to this place.

This barbecue spot is top tier and the line was out the door! I stopped here while traveling and the food was so good. The ribs were so tender that you don’t even need teeth! The fish was well seasoned and fried perfectly. The friendly customer service and atmosphere was a vibe. It’s local, family owned and black owned. That was some of the best ribs I’ve ever had so I would definitely drive the seven hours and go back. It is cash only but they also have an ATM on the premises.

Wonderful experience, I grabbed my order to go. However I look forward to going back and dining in with this wonderful staff. Very customer service oriented. Wide selection of food on the menu. I tried the chopped beef sandwich!! Very juicy!! I was tempted to try the ribs,

This has been the best BBQ I have tasted since moving from Georgia 7 years ago. I would bypass all other BBQ spots in LR and drive to Conway for this BBQ. I have gotten the half smoked chicken and the chopped beef, which were both seasoned to perfection. I was also given a sample of the riblets, and they didn't disappoint. I just don't eat pork for health reasons. If you are looking for a great BBQ that is reasonably priced...this is the place.

The BBQ sandwich was spot on, had very good flavor and plenty of meat. They use sweet slaw :) When you see their street sign It's kinda on the back of the building.. :)
